It’s cheesecake day, so I thought I’d share this one from last weekend (we couldn’t do another one again so soon!). We decided to buy a cheesecake for my sister’s going away party and got the Jamaican Chocolate baked cheesecake from The Cheesecake Shop and I have to say, it doesn’t necessarily look like a whole lot but it is an amazing cheesecake!

My recommendation is to let it warm to room temperature and it melts in your mouth. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still delicious straight out of the fridge, but it’s definitely better once it has reached room temperature.

The consistency is so smooth and the chocolate is balanced so well. At $26.95 normally it does seem quite expensive, but when you think that a gourmet chocolate cheesecake from Woolworths is about $10 for 750g and this one is at least double that weight and size, if not triple. Given how much better it tastes and how much bigger it is, I reckon this is actually better value.

I definitely recommend trying it, and if you are new to the Cheesecake Shop, you can currently get a $5 voucher by joining their club online here (and get another $5 voucher on your birthday). $5 off makes it $21.95, and that’s even better value!

Try it!
