Tavarua Island I Fiji

Destination: FIJI

Heart of the Pacific

Ah, Fiji. Fiji will always have a special place in my heart. Officially, we’ve only visited once, spending a little time in Lautoka and a little time in Suva, but the jaw-dropping coral reefs and friendly people are enough to etch these islands on my heart, just like they’ve done across the rest of the Pacific.

Travel Guide: FIJI

Bula! Welcome to Fiji.

While it’s not right in the middle of the Pacific, Fiji is probably one of the most well-known Pacific island nations and has become known in many ways as the Heart of the Pacfic.

Fiji is arguably the silk road of the South Pacific with many connecting flights between major airports, like Los Angeles, Sydney, Auckland and Tokyo. These many “cross-roads” have helped turned Fiji into a place unlike any of their island neighbours.

Take time out and unwind on an island paradise, snorkel, dive, paddle, experience the culture, or hit up the adrenaline rushes, whatever your idea of paradise is, Fiji is an idyllic destination for single travellers, couples, and families.

What will you choose?
