In case you haven’t heard, Royal Caribbean has sadly changed their cancellation policy related to shore excursions. It used to be that once you were on your cruise, you could cancel a shore excursion without penalty up to 24 hours before arrival in the relevant port.
The short answer is yes, you can. However, if you want to smoke, there are only three places you can do so, and they are all outdoors.
Let’s just say, it isn’t cheap, and you can only withdraw USD. If you think ATM fees in Australia are bad, think again. The ATM’s on board Royal Caribbean ships (or at least all the ones I’ve been on) charge a fee of USD$6.50. As far as I am aware, this fee applies to all cards.
Sometimes it is a real pain not knowing how much services will be on board a cruise ship. So hopefully you will find this price list from Royal Caribbean’s Radiance of the Seas taken on board a Transpacific cruise from Sydney to Hawaii in April 2017.
